Hello,
When I try to set IP and Device name via Profinet Explorer, I get the error "Device name: Setting identifier not provided".
Any suggestions why this might be? I am trying to change the device name and IP of a TP700 HMI Panel.

What is the device type ? What software do you usually use to set it up ?
Does it work with such a tool ? https://sourceforge.net/projects/profinetexplorer/

Hello Simon,
It is a Siemens TP700 Comfort HMI panel.
The first setup was done using the built-in tool of the device (on one device). On another identical device it was done using TIA Portal.
I will try the tool you linked.
