Alarm History Data Maintenance hst_alm.txt file - dave.lucking@epcsltd.com - 01-06-2017 Hi I am looking at how I can maintain and clear out old Alarm History, mainly as the Web App only likes to show the last 1000 records I have looked at ftp and see that the permissions on the hst_alm.txt file Owner,Group & Public Permissions attributes are set to -r--r--r--. Looks like we are only meant to read this file. If I ftp, then modify this file, and then by altering the attributes resend it back will it cause issues? If its an issue, what is the preferred way of maintaining this file? I checked in viewON and you are right. The alarm History object only shows the last 1000 alarms, mainly for performance reasons.
