Can't downgrade from v15.0s2 to V14 - FlamcoDaan - 07-05-2026

Hello,

I'm trying to downgrade an Ewon Flexy205 15.0s2 to V14

I've searched the forum and it says I need to use Ewon Recovery (F7) in eBuddy.

But in eBuddy my Ewon Recovery is grayed out.

I've tried to use a SD card with other firmware but also no success.

Please help.

Kind regards,

Daan

Did you enable FTP?

According with some old guides, you must connect your PC to Ewon through a switch. I don't know if it still needed but if you have a switch you can try

Thanks for your answers!

For now I used an other Ewon that had firmware V14.

I will try with a switch hopefully next week.

I will let you know

Don't ask me why but recovery was removed from eBuddy:

Hi,

Try this method, I tested it to revert to version 14 and it worked for me Downgrade secure firmware V15

Simon confirmed that downgrade is only possible with Ebuddy 12.4:
