Critical fault 36504 caused a factory reset - pem199 - 22-10-2025

Hello all,

Recently our ewon flexy got automatically resetted to factory settings after a critical error.
The log shows:
System rebooting
Reboot reason: Crictical error 36504
Mount volume failed 36504

I've searched on the internet but couldn't find anything.

Does anyone have an idea what could have caused this?

Hi,

It can be tricky to determine what the root cause is without looking at the backup + support files of the device. Of course, we prefer that this be done through a ticket at https://support.hms-networks.com/hc/en-us, since the data is private.
I'm also curious about which FW version this device is on. But we can discuss this in a ticket if you'd like.
