Refuse to connect at the Web Interface - Johnn8978 - 25-09-2024

I have this connection problem that suddenly appears while working with the device.

When we went back to the web interface, we were unable to reconnect.
But we still have the ewon online on Ecatcher and able to link with the device.
We can access the ftp server but not able to connect to the web interface anymore.

Any hints as to why this is happening.

Note that we do not have access to the physical device.

Tank you,

Hi,

Very weird indeed. Does it work when you use M2web.talk2m.com ? If yes, it is a PC issue, if not, it is a Flexy/Talk2m issue

Actually we received an answer from HMS support,

Quote

-----------------------
After reviewing the logs and based on the information we've gathered, it appears that the issue might be related to the use of the Cyclic Section in the Ewon's BASIC code. Recent firmware updates no longer support this section, as it can cause the system to hold up resources and result in unstable or buggy behavior.
To resolve this, the current code should be moved from the Cyclic Section to a regular non-cyclic section. You can use an ONTIMER function to call the code at regular intervals, such as once per second, to maintain the necessary timing without overloading the system's resources.

Thank you,

-----------------------

We were able to reboot the ewon by updating the firmware, then the cycle section was replaced by a regular section and we didn't have this problem again.
