Concurrent access of eWon - instruaravind - 16-11-2016

Dear all,
I have a eWon at Remote site, Currently I am accessing that remote eWon using one Talk2m Account in eCatcher. So is this possible to access the eWon with several users (different Talk2m Account or Same Account) located at different location at the same time??? Do i need eFive kind of things???

RE: Concurrent access of eWon - AngelaT - 16-11-2016

If you have a Talk2M Pro account, then multiple users on a single account can access this eWON at the same time through eCatcher connections.  If you only have a Talk2M Free+ account, then only one user can connect to an eWON at a time.  However, other users (up to 3) can be connected through M2Web.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your Reply,

Without using Talk2M Pro Account, is there any other option???
Like using eFive or any other???

If it were me, I wouldn't move to an eFive if I didn't have to. You'd lose all of the ease and convenience of Talk2M. eFive is really meant for applications where you need permanent connections between sites.

What are you looking to do that you need multiple users connected simultaneously? There might be some other way to handle it.

Ok thank you,
From 5 places around world, we have to access that One eWon, not Permanently, But Sometimes Simultaneously. So I want the Suitable option for that.
In Talk2M Pro Account
Can all 5 users access the devices connected to eWon LAN at the Sametime???

Yes, with a Pro account multiple users can access devices connected to the eWON LAN at the same time. You do have to be a little careful about that. Depending on what your users are doing and what devices they are working with, you do run the risk of multiple users trying to make changes to the same device at the same time. Luckily, in eCatcher you can see when other users are connected to eWONs.

There's more information about Talk2M Pro here: https://ewon.biz/products/talk2m/compare

The marketing text talks about 3 concurrent connections because that's the base package. However, you can pay for additional concurrent connections if you need them.

Hi Angela

Any chance you could have multiple users access the Ewon Flexy via a local Network via the Web Browser.
