Quick Download / Import Setup - Ewon.Carl - 26-08-2020 Hi there, We are starting to use the eWON Flexy 205 for our IIOT solutions. We have only configured 1 eWON as an initial development eWON and will soon be setting up our second. The second eWON Flexy 205's will be set up exactly the same, same IP, same tags, same BASIC script; same everything as the first... Is there a way to export the overall settings of the first Flexy 205 and import directly into the second? Or will I have to manually set up every flexy 205 independently in the future? I have been able to access the Flexy 205 over FTP but when pasting the txt, tag and data files, it seems to corrupt the eWON and reset the login credentials back to default? Instead of pasting the files, would I need to ammend the txt files instead? It would be good to be able to have a generic download file or import the files over FTP if possible? RE: Quick Download / Import Setup - simon - 27-08-2020 Hi Carl, What you must normally do is to use eBuddy for that. eBuddy will generate a backup of your first Ewon under the form of a tar file. This tar file includes all config files. Then you can restore it in the second one. Some little things to take into consideration : - The LAN IP is only applied after a reboot - The Talk2M config is also duplicated, which can cause problems. Always reexecute the Talk2M wizard after having pushed the backup. - You can also use the SD card to restore your backup (What we call the "easy commissioning") |
