I need to access PLC addresses that look like this:

DB40_BIT.My_sample_tag

from a Siemens S7-1500 over ISO-TCP.

Still not unfortunately. It is planned but for the next Ewon device generation.

Btw, you can actually use the OPCUA IO Server for reading these tags from the S7 PLC using names.

We have an HMI setup as an OPCUA server and can read some symbolic addresses. There are also NodeIDs that include space characters. I can browse to them, but the Flexy does not recognize them.

Can I enclose the ID text in quotes or braces or something? Nothing I've tried works.

A correction - further experimenting reveals that spaces are OK but the degrees symbol, °, is not recognized. Is there a way around this by escaping it or something?

Oh, that's something I did not know.
Not sure there is a work-around in the Flexy
