Hello 
I need to connect customer's flexy 201 to an old Siemens PLC s7300 using MPI

I know MPI extension card FLC3701 is dedicated to the flexy 205.

is there a  similar card for flexy201 ?

if not, is there a way to make it work with flexy 201 ?

I think you have to buy an MPI to Ethernet converter but, from a quick search online, it is quite expensive. I guess you can find at a similar price a Flexy 203 with MPI port included onboard.

at last, we have bought a flexy205 so exension card is working.

however i can't make Step7 communicating with S7 300 PLC using MPI if my CPU has a Profinet (and ethernet) port.
if CPU has no PN (315-2DP or 318-2) everything is OK, but with a 317-2PN Step7 won't try to communicate in MPI throught the eWON.

It must be an issue regarding the net pro set-up. 
To let me have deeper analyze, I need to have the PLC backup and, if possible, access to your Flexy.
