Good morning.

Within the framework of a project, we provided an ewon flexy 201. this flexy retrieves data from our PLCs. We then aggregated this data on a web page. No worries from this point of view.

But now, The customer wants to retrieve the Ewon data but in modbus TCP. (new customer requirement).

My question is:
The ewon has Modbus technology. Is it possible to read ewon data via a modbus request? using EWon in modbus slave ?

Is there a specific table?

The Ewon Tags can be published in Modbus TCP (Not RTU).

But just about curiosity, you can read. But can you write on modbus ?

Yes, sure.
The publishing is a read/write publishing. So you can update Flexy tags in Modbus and therefore the new value is forwarded to the PLC using the PLC protocol (Ex : Modbus TCP -- Tags --- S7 protocol -- PLC)
